Surge Limit Line (SLL): Represents the aerodynamic stall boundary where flow reversal and severe axial vibration occur. Centrifugal impellers must never operate beyond this line.

Anti-Surge Control Line (ASCL): Placed at a calibrated 12% safety margin to the right of SLL. When suction flow drops towards the ASCL, the high-speed Anti-Surge Recycle Valve (ASV) modulates open to recycle discharge gas to suction, stabilizing the compressor.
